Siegfried Brötzmann had several of the Gebrüdersdorfer SV's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Patrick Stoffel as he didn't even see the shot coming. 23 minutes into the match, Van Der Ley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Apfelbaum came free, but Victor Schleck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Guillou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Patrick Stoffel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Van Der Ley FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mark Klingelmann hit a great ball. Patrick Stoffel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Guillou, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Van Der Ley FC's Peter Guillou made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Stoffel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Siegfried Brötzmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Stoffel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siegfried Brötzmann in the 43rd minute of play forced Gebrüdersdorfer SV's goalkeeper Patrick Stoffel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Van Der Ley FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Simon Backer hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Steffen Schubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Schleck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Stoffel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siegfried Brötzmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Guillou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Stoffel came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Van Der Ley FC's Peter Guillou. But to his dismay, Peter Guillou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The audience was convinced that Peter Guillou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Stoffel was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Mark Klingelmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Stoffel was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Patrick Stoffel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagobert von Hompesch zu Bolheim in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Peter Guillou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Stoffel was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When Peter Guillou came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Van Der Ley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Guillou couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Gregory Apfelbaum in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Van Der Ley FC's Dagobert von Hompesch zu Bolheim. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Siegfried Brötzmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van Der Ley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siegfried Brötzmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Stoffel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Peter Guillou put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Stoffel. If Siegfried Brötzmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Guillou took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Stoffel. Patrick Stoffel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. There was no doubt that Van Der Ley FC were the better team. Van Der Ley FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
