Austmar Hjaltason took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Össur Ármannsson. When Móses Freysson fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feiko FC's protests and gave Móses Freysson a yellow card for diving instead. Manchester United made a substitution. Geirtryggur Sólbergsson replaced Safír Reynisson. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Feiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Móses Freysson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Feiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Hænsson to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Tryggvi Sigfastsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Feiko FC's Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristmundur Knútsson came free, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Feiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarnar Fannarsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Ingjaldur Daníelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Manchester United's Össur Ármannsson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35th play minutes Össur Ármannsson shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Örnólfur Hannesson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match, Austmar Hjaltason got a very nice opportunity to score, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 41st minute Össur Ármannsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manchester United's Össur Ármannsson in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Feiko FC's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Max Hrafnsson made a kick off. Örnólfur Hannesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ásgautur Reimarsson made a huge save. 55 minutes in the game, Tryggvi Sigfastsson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Össur Ármannsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Össur Ármannsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Örnólfur Hannesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ásgautur Reimarsson came out of the goal and Örnólfur Hannesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feiko FC's Hásteinn Ólason was substituted for Sölvi Dagfinnsson. In the 69th match minute, Feiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Móses Freysson to maneuver through the defense. When Manchester United's Arngils Þorvaldsson in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Feiko FC's goalie prevented a goal. Örnólfur Hannesson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ásgautur Reimarsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The nice shot from Örnólfur Hannesson in the 74thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ásgautur Reimarsson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 78 minutes of play, Manchester United's Össur Ármannsson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Össur Ármannsson went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Össur Ármannsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
