After some careless play in the Pogoń Siedlce defense, Austmar Hjaltason kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Bjarkason. The Pogoń Siedlce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Bjarkason should have stopped the shot. If Össur Ármannsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. In the 51st minute Össur Ármannsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Bjarkason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ásgautur Reimarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rúben Baugsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 70th minute, Össur Ármannsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Bjarkason. The goal made the score 0-6. Össur Ármannsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Jan Bjarkason when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manchester United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Safír Reynisson in the 74th minute. Ásgautur Reimarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Baugsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Rúben Baugsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ásgautur Reimarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Bjarkason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tryggvi Sigfastsson in the 90th minute of play.
