The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored The Black Mamba F.C's protests and gave Raimundo Astudillo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Black Mamba F.C's Raimundo Astudillo got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th match minute, The Black Mamba F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, José Marcelo Vildosola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Mimica. José Marcelo Vildosola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lino Santana made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Raimundo Astudillo immediately put the ball in play. José Marcelo Vildosola might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Mimica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Marcelo Vildosola ran back to his position shaking his head. The Black Mamba F.C's Benicio Mimica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save The Black Mamba F.C from getting a goal against them. José Marcelo Vildosola succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Pedro José Gamboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benicio Mimica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Mimica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Marcelo Vildosola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Juan Jesus Mac Gill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Howard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Marcelo Vildosola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Mimica having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Víctor Javier Escobillana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bautista Saul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benicio Mimica came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa. But to his dismay, Pedro José Gamboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Juan Jesus Mac Gill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Howard having to interfere. Crucero del Sur's Tom Howard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Saul in the 58th minute of play. Benicio Mimica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro José Gamboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes The Black Mamba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Magasich. In the 75th minute, César Mansilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicens Bilbao hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Bautista Saul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Joaquin Solar in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Crucero del Sur's Abdón Baros. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro José Gamboa in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Mimica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Pedro José Gamboa in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pedro José Gamboa scored 6-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Mimica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro José Gamboa in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Mimica saved The Black Mamba F.C from getting behind. The audience was convinced that José Marcelo Vildosola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Mimica was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Crucero del Sur's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
