Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Crucero del Sur's César Mansilla got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes Guaillane got a freekick which was hit by Orlín Masson. After 10 minutes of play, Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Jesus Llana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro José Gamboa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Mario Jesus Llana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crucero del Sur. 24 minutes into the game, Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Jesus Llana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Pedro José Gamboa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Jesus Llana was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, José Marcelo Vildosola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Jesus Llana. Mario Jesus Llana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro José Gamboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Elias Lacunza charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Lacunza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Crucero del Sur booed when Guaillane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Lacunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Jesus Llana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro José Gamboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, José Marcelo Vildosola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crucero del Sur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After the first half Crucero del Sur were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Guaillane's zone, Pedro José Gamboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Jesus Llana came out of the goal and Pedro José Gamboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mario Jesus Llana. That made the score 0-8 after 60 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the match, Guaillane's goalkeeper Mario Jesus Llana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro José Gamboa. In the 65th minute, Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. José Marcelo Vildosola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Jesus Llana came out and tried to block the shot, but José Marcelo Vildosola slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Pedro José Gamboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Jesus Llana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mario Jesus Llana. Mario Jesus Llana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. In the 80th minute Isadoro Gundian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Howard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro José Gamboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the game Elias Lacunza made a throw-in which Orlín Masson played forward. Mario Jesus Llana made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Pedro José Gamboa sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, José Marcelo Vildosola took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Mario Jesus Llana to make any attempt to save it. Crucero del Sur's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
