After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Lucas Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Beltran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khaleem Abdul-Hamid. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Darryl Glen charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darryl Glen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Nacional's Roy Layne was substituted for Errol Ogunbanke. Güray Altunışık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teddy Daaga came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Punta Pigeon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Daaga couldn't finish the play. A well placed Lucas Beltran short distance shot in the 18th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Cipriano Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lucas Beltran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Beltran really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 28th minute, Güray Altunışık made a precise shot to the right of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid. Punta Pigeon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Lucas Beltran put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid. In the 34th minute, Güray Altunışık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Lucas Beltran put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid. After having played for 40 minutes, Güray Altunışık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güray Altunışık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Beltran in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Beltran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Khaleem Abdul-Hamid skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Khaleem Abdul-Hamid had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Punta Pigeon's Khaleem Abdul-Hamid got control of the ball when Lucas Beltran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Beltran was the one to do the kick off. When FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punta Pigeon's goalie prevented a goal. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Punta Pigeon's goalkeeper Khaleem Abdul-Hamid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Beila in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Lucas Beltran sped through Punta Pigeon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Beltran in the 60th minute of play. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 11-0 in the ordered_time% minute. FC Nacional's Scott Garcia was substituted for Bertie Wolfe. FC Nacional made a substitution. Michael Ekenberg replaced Aurelio Florian. Alejandro Sabella kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Güray Altunışık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güray Altunışık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güray Altunışık in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Lucas Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punta Pigeon's Khaleem Abdul-Hamid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güray Altunışık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vasant de Boissièrre fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Pigeon's protests and gave Vasant de Boissièrre a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Nacional booed when Punta Pigeon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasant de Boissièrre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güray Altunışık scored 14-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Nacional fully deserved thier win.
