After 12 minutes, Broderick Twite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coventry City FC and the Don Osvaldo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Broderick Twite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bodo Rudwaleit was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Darian Dobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stewart Greenbank in the 34th minute of play forced Don Osvaldo FC's goalkeeper Bodo Rudwaleit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Arkinstall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrance Sobczak in the 54th minute of play forced Don Osvaldo FC's goalkeeper Bodo Rudwaleit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Don Osvaldo FC got a freekick which was hit by Keefer Turnbull. Coventry City FC's Jeffers Loch was substituted for Lawrance Sobczak. A collision led to Don Osvaldo FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Keefer Turnbull hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Coventry City FC got a freekick which was hit by Broderick Dowling. If Downing Delahide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Coventry City FC's Jeffers Loch ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bodo Rudwaleit. Bodo Rudwaleit yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Broderick Todman hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Stewart Greenbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodo Rudwaleit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Don Osvaldo FC's Bodo Rudwaleit got control of the ball when Broderick Twite tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Don Osvaldo FC's goalkeeper Bodo Rudwaleit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Broderick Twite. Coventry City FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jess Fessey in the 71st minute. The corner led Coventry City FC's Jess Fessey to fire away a dangerous shot which Bodo Rudwaleit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bodo Rudwaleit was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Broderick Twite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Broderick Twite really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Stewart Greenbank struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Bodo Rudwaleit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coventry City FC. Stewart Greenbank scored 1-7 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bodo Rudwaleit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bodo Rudwaleit made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Stewart Greenbank sent off a good shot on target. Bodo Rudwaleit was a little too slow when Rufus Pound got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-8. Coventry City FC played a much better game than Don Osvaldo FC and deserved their victory. The Don Osvaldo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
