Keefer Turnbull in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carman Salcedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joseph Jackson took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bodo Rudwaleit. Bodo Rudwaleit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bodo Rudwaleit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Gracey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Keefer Turnbull sped through Banyena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carman Salcedo. After 31 minutes, Peter Baxter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banyena and the Don Osvaldo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bodo Rudwaleit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banyena. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Don Osvaldo FC's Rick Virgin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Joseph Jackson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bodo Rudwaleit was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bodo Rudwaleit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Jackson went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Bodo Rudwaleit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Gracey in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute Keefer Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Rick Virgin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Don Osvaldo FC and the Banyena players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Don Osvaldo FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rick Virgin hit a great ball. Carman Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keefer Turnbull in the 81st minute of play. If Keefer Turnbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Baxter kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Keefer Turnbull who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banyena's Carman Salcedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Banyena's Joseph Jackson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bodo Rudwaleit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Banyena were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Don Osvaldo FC side.
