A collision led to Al Wasl Dubai FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ali Al Arbash hit a great ball. Jalal Al Rodhan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Shaheen Al Sherazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Al Wasl Dubai FC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Al Arbash. Jalal Al Rodhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Zander having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alwahda FC's Jalal Al Rodhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Zander. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Patryk Owsiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darweesh Al Sharah in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Al Wasl Dubai FC's Meteb Al Qatam got a free kick in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Meqdad Taiban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sten Zander. Meqdad Taiban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Patryk Owsiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darweesh Al Sharah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Meqdad Taiban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ghazi Al Fadhalah hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jalal Al Rodhan, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jalal Al Rodhan hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Al Wasl Dubai FC's Sten Zander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faisal Taqi in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Faisal Taqi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sten Zander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Al Wasl Dubai FC booed when Alwahda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Al Srae didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Qutaiba Al Zamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Alwahda FC's Patryk Owsiak got control of the ball when Ali Al Arbash tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sten Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faisal Taqi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Patryk Owsiak was a little too slow when Abdul Mohsen Al Sallal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 3-1. Alwahda FC's Patryk Owsiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Mohsen Al Sallal in the 96th minute of play. Alwahda FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
