Aesem Khaja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 31st minute, Ali Al Arbash left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al Wasl Dubai FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 38 minutes of play, Al Wasl Dubai FC's Ali Al Arbash made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aesem Khaja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aesem Khaja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Al Arbash went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Al Wasl Dubai FC booed when Fuyaira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adem Boften didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamed Al Sallal in the 48th minute of play forced Fuyaira SC's goalkeeper Aesem Khaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fuyaira SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Al Wasl Dubai FC were winning 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Al Arbash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 57 minutes on the clock, Meteb Al Qatam commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Adem Boften took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sten Zander. Al Wasl Dubai FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fuyaira SC's Adem Boften got a free kick in the 60th minute. Sten Zander came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fuyaira SC's Basem Shadad. But to his dismay, Basem Shadad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. The supporters of Al Wasl Dubai FC booed when Fuyaira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaqoub Khaja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aesem Khaja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Mohsen Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Al Wasl Dubai FC's Monther Al Srae got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fuyaira SC's Basem Shadad got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aesem Khaja made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Darweesh Al Sharah sent off a good shot on target. Morad Al Khames lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fuyaira SC! Aesem Khaja had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Ghazi Al Fadhalah's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 96th minute, Shaheen Al Sherazi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fuyaira SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Al Wasl Dubai FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Al Wasl Dubai FC.
