Victor Schleck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Göbl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Van Der Ley FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Charles-Louis Van Castel hit a great ball. Victor Schleck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Hislop in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Linus Göbl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Schleck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Edmondo Venditti put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Schleck. Michael Pfohl charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Pfohl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael Pfohl hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Victor Schleck came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Mondorf Forest's Linus Göbl. But to his dismay, Linus Göbl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

In the 54th minute, Michael Pfohl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Schleck was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ruben Schmit. In the 56th minute Peter Guillou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Steffen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mondorf Forest's Ruben Schmit shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victor Schleck but with some difficulty. Victor Schleck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Schmit in the 61st minute of play. With his leg Victor Schleck managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Mondorf Forest's Edmondo Venditti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute, Edmondo Venditti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mondorf Forest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Mondorf Forest made a substitution. Stefan Horowitz replaced Edmondo Venditti. Victor Schleck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Horowitz in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Vincent Hislop rounded Van Der Ley FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. In the 78th minute, Daniel Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Gessler charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Mondorf Forest's Vincent Gessler in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Van Der Ley FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Van Der Ley FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mondorf Forest's performance. The match ended with a win for Mondorf Forest.
