Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julien Steffen started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stanway FC's goalkeeper Charles Furstenfeld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 6 minutes, Edmondo Venditti made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Stanway FC's Charles Furstenfeld tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 minutes of play, Mondorf Forest's Linus Göbl made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Furstenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmondo Venditti succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 24th minute, Edmondo Venditti made a precise shot to the right of Charles Furstenfeld. Stanway FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 32nd minute, Edmondo Venditti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Axmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Steffen having to make a save. Edmondo Venditti scored 0-6 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Furstenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmondo Venditti was the one to do the kick off. Charles Furstenfeld was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Edmondo Venditti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmondo Venditti really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Hislop in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Furstenfeld saved Stanway FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Edmondo Venditti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charles Furstenfeld. The goal made the score 0-8. Charles Furstenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Hislop in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Mondorf Forest's Vincent Hislop dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. In the 68th match minute, Stanway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Faehlmann to maneuver through the defense. Mondorf Forest's Stefan Horowitz was substituted for Edmondo Venditti. In the 69th match minute, Stanway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Faehlmann to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Stanway FC's zone, Stefan Horowitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Furstenfeld came out of the goal and Stefan Horowitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Stanway FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Felix Wolff hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Hislop in the 78th minute of play forced Stanway FC's goalkeeper Charles Furstenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Stanway FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vincent Hislop fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mondorf Forest's Stefan Horowitz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Stefan Horowitzs short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Charles Furstenfeld to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Vincent Hislop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mondorf Forest's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Hislop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Furstenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Charles Furstenfeld managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Mondorf Forest's Stefan Horowitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 92 minutes into the match, Stanway FC's goalkeeper Charles Furstenfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Horowitz. After 94 played minutes Stanway FC got a freekick which was hit by Liam Faehlmann. Stefan Horowitzs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Charles Furstenfeld to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mondorf Forest played a much better game than Stanway FC and deserved their victory. The Stanway FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
