In the 26th match minute, The Evil Project was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Luxembourg to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Evil Project's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Klingelmann was slow to take the kick. During this time Van Der Ley FC's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Peter Guillou to score against Armin Baumgärtner in The Evil Project's goal. 1-0 after 29 minutes. Peter Guillou took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armin Baumgärtner. Armin Baumgärtner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save The Evil Project from getting a goal against them. The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Guillou in the 40th minute of play. Victor Schleck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Behringer in the 44th minute of play. Peter Guillou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armin Baumgärtner came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Guillou slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Guillou made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Peter Guillou notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner. Armin Baumgärtner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armin Baumgärtner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Guillou, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Siegfried Brötzmann put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armin Baumgärtner. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Peter Guillou sped through The Evil Project's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armin Baumgärtner. The attack was good, but when Peter Guillou in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Simon Backer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siegfried Brötzmann in the 86th minute of play. Van Der Ley FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after The Evil Project's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mark Klingelmann took the corner. The corner led to Van Der Ley FC's Dagobert von Hompesch zu Bolheim getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. There was no doubt that Van Der Ley FC were the better team. Van Der Ley FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
