With his leg Pablo Victoriano managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute, Orlando Byers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Victoriano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, hdp's Pablo Victoriano got control of the ball when Pedro José Gamboa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Orlando Byers took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Pablo Victoriano to make any attempt to save it. Pablo Victoriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Byers in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro José Gamboa got free with Pablo Victoriano in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Pablo Victoriano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the hdp defense, Orlando Byers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Victoriano. The hdp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Victoriano should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 44th minute Orlando Byers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Victoriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro José Gamboa got free with Pablo Victoriano in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Baudelio Saso made the kick off in the second half. hdp's Pablo Victoriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Byers in the 54th minute of play. Pablo Victoriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro José Gamboa in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Orlando Byers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Victoriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Orlando Byers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Victoriano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Byers in the 69th minute of play forced hdp's goalkeeper Pablo Victoriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Victoriano came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa. But to his dismay, Pedro José Gamboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Pablo Victoriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Byers, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Pablo Victoriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Marcelo Vildosola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to hdp getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Salvatore Acasuso hit a great ball. Baltazar Arriaran kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. hdp's Pablo Victoriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Byers in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute José Marcelo Vildosola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Victoriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Orlando Byers made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Victoriano. hdp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Crucero del Sur walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
