Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Ahmet Emir Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Zambrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, El Peñón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Emir Demirci came free, but Adolfo Zambrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Zambrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Emir Demirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Adnan Menderes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Zambrano was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Adnan Menderes scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Zambrano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Emir Demirci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Zambrano having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Ahmet Emir Demirci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ovidio Sarabia charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Sarabia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ovidio Sarabia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Las Terrenas's Adnan Menderes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Zambrano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jesús Boyd's late challenge caught a Las Terrenas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesús Boyd helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Las Terrenas booed when El Peñón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesús Boyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Emir Demirci in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Zambrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ahmet Emir Demirci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Menderes in the 59th minute of play forced El Peñón FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Zambrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Menderes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El Peñón FC's Celestino Carreón got a free kick in the 67th minute. Las Terrenas made a substitution. Bonifacio Yáñez replaced Jeremias Molinos. After 69 played minutes, Las Terrenas's Adrián Ponce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adolfo Zambrano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Las Terrenas reached it. Jesús Boyd struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Isidoro Balboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Peñón FC. Isidoro Balboa came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by El Peñón FC's Anthony Canal. But to his dismay, Anthony Canal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Boyd in the 83rd minute of play forced Las Terrenas's goalkeeper Isidoro Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Anthony Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Peñón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Canal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88th play minutes Adnan Menderes shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Adolfo Zambrano and just under the crossbar into goal. Isidoro Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Boyd in the 93rd minute of the match. If Adnan Menderes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Las Terrenas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
