The supporters of ΠΑΛΟΚ booed when El Peñón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Canal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Enzo Valencia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΛΟΚ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, ΠΑΛΟΚ's goalkeeper Roy Naranjo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Canal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Franklyn Castillo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Zambrano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Valencia in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Zambrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Canal's late challenge caught a ΠΑΛΟΚ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Canal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Mauro Canal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Zambrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Valencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Franklyn Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Zambrano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Roy Naranjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Boyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Enzo Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Naranjo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Boyd in the 34th minute of play. El Peñón FC's Anthony Canal got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Anthony Canal off the ground. If Jesús Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When ΠΑΛΟΚ's Franklyn Castillo in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adolfo Zambrano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edwar Pulido. El Peñón FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Franklyn Castillo scored to the left of an out of position Adolfo Zambrano, making the score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Valencia in the 94th minute of play forced El Peñón FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded ΠΑΛΟΚ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Peñón FC.
