UASD:s Yánez Aldaeta showed great skill when he stopped Emiliano Valdez:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Guayaubín's goalkeeper Clemente Clayton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Palma. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayaubín's goalkeeper Clemente Clayton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Univ. UASD's goalkeeper Yánez Aldaeta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Omar Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Palma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yánez Aldaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Alcott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Clayton was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Omar Palma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Omar Palma really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Clemente Clayton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hanley Morrison made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Hanley Morrison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayaubín's Clemente Clayton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 53 minutes Guayaubín's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casimiro Villanueva who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Casimiro Villanueva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Clayton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute, Omar Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Clayton was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Guardado during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Guayaubín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Clayton should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Omar Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Clayton was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 75 minutes into the match, Guayaubín's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Palma came free, but Clemente Clayton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UASD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
