Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Banyena's Cain Gracey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Farley's Robert Moon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carman Salcedo. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Randall Ziliotto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Gracey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Ray Maciver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carman Salcedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carman Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichol Kreck in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Drake Kirkham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banyena the free kick. Drake Kirkham hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Carman Salcedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichol Kreck, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carman Salcedo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ray Maciver sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Farley's Nichol Kreck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carman Salcedo. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nichol Kreck was the one to do the kick off. Drake Kirkham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute Nichol Kreck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play Farley's Drake Kirkham was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 54 played minutes Farley got a freekick which was hit by Drake Kirkham. After having played for 58 minutes, Joseph Jackson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banyena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Jackson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joseph Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Joseph Jackson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banyena's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Jackson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randall Ziliotto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cain Gracey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randall Ziliotto having to interfere. In the 68th minute Ray Maciver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Moon during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Robert Moon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Farley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Maciver to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Banyena's zone, Ray Maciver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carman Salcedo came out of the goal and Ray Maciver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joseph Jackson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Randall Ziliotto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Farley's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joseph Jackson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Banyena getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joseph Jackson hit a great ball. If Ray Maciver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ray Maciver struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carman Salcedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Gracey in the 95th minute of play forced Farley's goalkeeper Randall Ziliotto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Banyena's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Farley had won, even though Banyena had held more of the ball.
