The supporters of Don Osvaldo FC booed when Farley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyon Munday didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Keefer Turnbull put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Randall Ziliotto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burtt Stevenson during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Farley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Don Osvaldo FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Art Obree, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Farley's Randall Ziliotto. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ray Maciver got free with Bodo Rudwaleit in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nichol Kreck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Broderick Todman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Randall Ziliotto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bodo Rudwaleit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichol Kreck, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes, Cole Willis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Don Osvaldo FC and the Farley players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Don Osvaldo FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cole Willis hit a great ball. Bodo Rudwaleit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichol Kreck in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nichol Kreck was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Don Osvaldo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Maciver came free, but Bodo Rudwaleit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Downing Delahide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keefer Turnbull's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Randall Ziliotto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the game, Robert Moon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Don Osvaldo FC the free kick. Robert Moon hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Don Osvaldo FC's Art Obree tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Robert Moon was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Don Osvaldo FC booed when Farley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Moon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Osvaldo FC's Broderick Todman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martyon Munday, made in the 75th minute of the game. After having played for 79 minutes, Ray Maciver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Maciver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Downing Delahide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Farley's Ernest Mcroberts got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Don Osvaldo FC's Can Fix got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Don Osvaldo FC's Broderick Todman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Randall Ziliotto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Keefer Turnbull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ray Maciver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Don Osvaldo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Farley throughout the match.
