Clemente Clayton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklyn Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Romo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Clayton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aníbal Cejas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of ΠΑΛΟΚ booed when Guayaubín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Montaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwar Pulido, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Clemente Clayton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Valencia in the 43rd minute of the match. ΠΑΛΟΚ were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Guayaubín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edwar Pulido took the corner. Edwar Pulido made a great header on ΠΑΛΟΚ's corner, it was just that Guayaubín's Clemente Clayton managed to reach the ball for a save. Enzo Valencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Valencia was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklyn Castillo got free with Clemente Clayton in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Romo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Enzo Valencia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Clemente Clayton was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Enzo Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of ΠΑΛΟΚ booed when Guayaubín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position.
